Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S

Sony Ericsson has just released the update to the popular Xperia Arc that they released earlier on in the year. They have named it... The Xperia Arc S... It is in the same shell as the previous handset just with a number of updates to help performance.

Firstly the processor in the handset has been updated to feature a 1.4GHz processor rather than a 1GHz like in the original Arc. The phone also now comes with 1GB of internal memory, only 320Mb of which is available to the user. The other is reserved by the phone to stop it from crashing and it helps performance. The battery life of the handset has also been increased ever so slightly.

The rest of the phone remains virtually unchanged so there is still an 8 Megapixel camera with video calling and video recording. There is Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS Navigation. A built in media player capable of playing most file types of music and TrackID music recognition. This will return the artist and track name of any music that you play a snippet of to the phone.
