The Sony Ericsson W960i is the latest phone to be added to the Walkman family, it is also the most Walkman phone to date. The W960i features a 2.6 inch touch screen display with hand writing recognition; the phone also has a standard keypad should you not get on the hand writing feature.
The W960i is a 3G enabled phone which means fast web browsing and downloads this also gives you the ability to make and receive video calls. Should you not be in a 3G enabled area the phone also has Wi-Fi for a wireless connection to the internet whether this be at home, at home or even out at about. Whilst on the subject of connectivity the W960i also has Bluetooth with A2DP technology allowing you to listen to your music via a pair of wireless Bluetooth headphones. This is superb considering Music is the phones key aspect! The phone has the latest version of Walkman Software allowing you to sort your music much like you would on an iPod. I.e. via Artist, Album, Track & Playlists. The phone also has Sony Ericssons ™ feature TrackID which allows you to get the artist & track name of a piece of music just by recording a sample of it! You will have plenty of room to store all your music as the phone features an 8 GB internal memory! That's huge!
The W960i also benefits from a 3.15 Mega Pixel camera with auto focus, Video recording capabilities and a flash! There is also a secondary camera located on the front of the camera; this is primarily used for making and receiving video calls.
