The W595 is a cool new funky slider phone from Sony Ericsson; it is a mid range Walkman handset with a great range of features including 3G and HSDPA technology. It well be made available in a number of colours such as; Jungle Grey, Lava Black, Cosmopolitan White & Active Blue.
Whilst the phone is a Walkman branded handset the phone isn't just about the music side of life. The W595 also has a great 3.2 mega pixel camera with video recording capabilities, although the camera has no autofocus which is a tad disappointing. There is a secondary camera located on the front of the phone this is used for making and receiving video calls. The phone also has a great organiser, a built in image editor and a web browser.
The Walkman package includes the trademark Walkman music player allowing you to listen to your music on the move. As well as a FM Radio with RDS technology, TrackID music recognition (gets the track and artist name, just by playing a sample of the music at the phone), Shake Control and SensMe. SensMe cleverly checks the beat and tempo of your music and plots them onto a graph you can then choose music suited to your mood or what music you wanted to listen to.

Other features of the W595 include Bluetooth with A2DP technology, 40MB of internal memory and the ability to expand this with a M2 memory card (a 2GB card is usually in the box) and MP3 ringtones allowing you to have a real song as your ringtone!

Good for music, camera not the best of similar phones. Very easy to use overall with lots of handy functions and decent for Internet use.

I like everything except the loudness of the music through the headphones, too low!

It has the best music playing facilities around, as well as great camera quality and display. The main downside is that it has not been kept up to date with the latest applications, and the screen is a little small for a modern phone.
