Sony Ericsson W580i

Sony Ericsson are calling their new handset a 'lifestyle' phone, the W580i is a Walkman phone with a sporty twist. The Slider phone has been pre-loaded with Sony Ericsson's Sports Applications software, allowing the user to measure their steps, calories, running speed, distance and time. The phone will be available in four colours, Style White,Urban Grey,Boulevard Black & Metro Pink. So there will be something for everyone!

The phone is also great where entertainment is concerned. The W580i has a 2 megapixel camera with video recording capabilities. As the phone is part of the Walkman family, unsurprisingly the W580i has got the latest Walkman music player pre-installed allowing you to listen to your music on the move. Part of the Walkman branding is TrackID allowing you to get the Artist name & Track Name simply by holding your phone to the music. With the memory card that is supplied with the phone (512Mb) you will be able to store 470 full length music tracks.

The W580i also has a FM Radio with RDS. The phone also has Bluetooth with A2DP technology allowing you to stream music wirelessly via Bluetooth.
