The HTC Smart is the first smartphone to come from HTC headquarters with the new Brew Mobile platform, as opposed to the Android operating system that other HTC phones run! It's a great compact handset and offers a good range of features for not a great deal of money!
So to begin with the Smart offers a 3.15 Megapixel camera with an LED flash and video recording capabilities. There is a 2.8 inch touchscreen with 256k colours, so its not going to be as clear and crisp as other HTC devices or other smartphones but its ok for modern day use. There is a media player capable of playing most file types of music and video, and should you need it there is also an FM radio! The phone has the ability to have a total memory of 16Gb, to achieve this you will need a microSD memory card.
The HTC Smart is available in a number of colours such as; Black, Silver, Red or White. There is also 3G HSDPA for super fast internet but no Wi-Fi to speak of. There is a also a built in organiser, 3.5mm headphone jack allowing you to use your own headphones when listening to music and not forgetting Bluetooth! Overall if you wanting a smartphone but with out all the bells and whistles then this is a good place to start!

Recommended?
The Smart had good features such as Facebook and freindstream however if you are not on a data contract then you cannot use these as there is no WiFi also the battery life was very poor had to charge the phone everyday which isnt convenient.
Good design the phone was slick and well made very asthetically pleasing. However would not recommend due to the poor battery life.
