The BlackBerry Pearl 9105 offers a wide range of features in a compact lightweight shell. Rather than using a traditional QWERTY keypad the Pearl 9105 uses a SureType keypad that learns the words you use most for speedy input at minimal effort!
The main benefit of a BlackBerry is the instant email that comes through to the handset as soon as you have been sent one! But as with all new modern technology gadgets, they do that and a lot more! There is a 3.15 megapixel camera with auto-focus, flash, a digital zoom and video recording. The phone has an internal memory of 256Mb which isn't a lot but this can be expanded to up to 32GB with the use of a microSD memory card, a 2GB card has been included in the box to get your started! The Pearl 9105 has a media player that allows you t synchronise direct with iTunes and the battery will get you 30 hours playback from one charge, that's quite impressive! You can play your music back via loudspeaker, via headphones through the 3.5 mm headphone jack or by via a set of wireless Bluetooth headphones!
BlackBerry have their own "app store" called BlackBerry Application World giving you access to a vast library of downloadable applications! To help you do this quickly and effortlessly the phone supports 3G HSDPA and Wi-Fi allowing you to connect at super fast speeds whether you at home or out and about.

I was split between the BlackBerry Pearl and an iPhone, and I am so glad i went for the BlackBerry. It is simple to use, and adding email etc is straight forward. I have found the BlackBerry invaluable for organising my home life, and being able to write emails on my mobile is great. This is a fab phone for general phone/texting, with the benefit of being able to access emails, and send them.

The blackberry pearl is a good phone for Internet use. i daily check my emails and go on facebook on it. also, the camera takes really good pictures.

I would highly recommend the BlackBerry Pearl to anyone. Although it has all the latest technology, it is also extremely easy to use, so is suitable for the youngest to the oldest user.:)

This is a great, simple smartphone. Perfect for those wanting to surf the internet and receive email straight to their phone without having lots of fancy apps.
I found it very easy to get to grips with having only ever owned Nokia phones before.
