The Apple iPhone XS Max - pronounced "ten S Max" - is the largest smartphone that Apple has ever created. The 6.5-inch display is genuinely enormous and leaves you wondering whether you are holding a phone, a tablet, or something in between. To make the product even more impressive, there’s barely any bezel, meaning that almost the entire front side of the device is dedicated to screen real estate.
Why has Apple decided to do this? Apple as a company has always been quite conservative about the size of its handsets. Back in the days of the iPhone 4, the Cupertino tech giant keeps its phones small, even though rival manufacturers like Samsung were providing the market with much larger handsets. This year, though, Apple has finally decided to go after all segments of the market and abandon the idea that a phone should be a certain size and shape. It's a bold move by the company since physical size was one of the ways that it kept the costs of its handsets down in the past.
The iPhone XS Max comes it at £1,099 for the 64GB version and goes up to £1,449 for the 512GB model. The new form factor gives users much-needed screen real estate to do many of the things that users want to do on their Apple devices, such as gaming and productivity. The new form factor should make it just as easy for Apple customers to play on their devices as it is for those of rival manufacturers, making the XS Max a highly practical choice for many people in today's market.

It should be noted that none of this comes cheap. If you do decide to go with the 512GB version of the phone, you’ll be paying more for the handset than you can pay for any other device on today's market. Apple, as always, is asking for a lot of money, but have they overstepped the mark this time and gone too far with their money demands?
The place where the iPhone XS Max shines is in the design. Apple has put a lot of time and money into making sure the phone retains that characteristic Apple sleekness. The phone measures 7.7mm in thickness, which makes it much thinner than rival products from both Sony and Samsung. And the entire device is surrounded in tapered edges which help to make it feel slimmer and less bulky in the hand.
The physical size of the phone is also impressive. Despite the screen size, Apple has managed to reduce the size of the bezel to the extent that the entire device is smaller than the iPhone 8 which, as we know, only had a 5.5-inch display.
Apple is still pushing wireless charging, despite its admission that its wireless charger product has been shelved. And so the XS Max comes with wireless charging ability. And like the regular XS, people can get this phone in gold, grey, and silver.
